MCR: 'barriers force against prejudice'

The singer of My Chemical Romance, Gerard Way, said that his performance next to the guitarist Frank Iero live is a way to combat some types of common prejudices in society.

In several shows the pair makes public displays of affection and are known even by 'Frerard', by several fans, a reference to the name that would have as spouses.

"I am so with the most noble of intentions, is to make certain people understand that the fact that a person be an artist or a little afeminada-even the face of work or a boy of the school - is not reason to deal with los evil. The rock was full of testosterone for a long time, and that is why I am so interested in forcing it. All this has converging in the way women are treated as inferior, calling people 'deer', beirar racism, if not totally racist. Many things are linked to stupidity of rock'n'roll and we are completely contrary, "he explained in an interview to the Herald Sun

The singer explained that during the Projekt Revolution tour, wanted to test the limits of whom were fans of Linkin Park and hours bands in relation to sexuality.

"We thought, 'Cool, they like us, now see if these barriers sexual force a little more, how they react'. There was a vibration extremely macho in the audience, but they seemed Tuesday beloved (the shows of the MCR). I think they just needed a sacudida in their lives, "he said.
